Solution Background
Building call box as analog terminals for emergency calls in the elevator. When the VoIP gateway disconnects with the SIP server, in case the internet is disconnected, or theSIP server is faulting, needs to use the call box to make outbound calls and realize emergency failover.
Providing high reliable environment for user in the elevator, whenever the emergency happens, they are still able to make calls through the call box to connect to the building management and get help.
Function Definition
Use the FXO gateway to provide customers with alternative lines.
When the FXS VoIP gateway and SIP server is disconnected, the call is automatically sent to the FXO PSTN line for outbound calls, providing a high-reliability guarantee for the customer's voice communication in the elevator.
Solution1---Non-FXS/FXO Hybrid Gateway
Instructions
1.The FXS gateway registers to the SIP server through the Internet, and the FXO gateway connects to PSTN.
2.FXS and FXO gateway in the same local area network
3.Using the active and standby function of the FXS gateway, when the SIP server is not accessible, the calls will be sent to the FXO gateway
Solution2---Non FXS/FXO Hybrid Gateway with Call Box
Instructions
1.The VoIP gateway has both FXS and FXO ports.
2.FXS registers to the SIP server through the Internet, and the FXO ports connect to PSTN.
3.Using the escape function of the gateway, when the SIP server is not accessible, the calls will be sent to the FXO ports.
Solution3---FXS+FXO Hybrid Gateway
Instructions
1.The VoIP gateway has both FXS and FXO ports.
2. FXS registers to the SIP server through the Internet, and the FXO ports connect to PSTN.
3.Using the failover function of the gateway, when the SIP server is not accessible, the calls will be sent to the FXO ports.
Solution4---EGW50
Instructions
1.Users’ analog lines connect to cloud PBX through EGW50
2.Obtain local survivability from LSBX when cloud PBX is down
3.Internal extension dialing and outbound calls will not be affected when SIP server disconnected
Solution Value
